Terms and conditions

1. General

1.1 Binding Bookings

When a customer schedules a service appointment via email or telephone and receives confirmation from Mr. Perfect Services, this constitutes a binding booking. The customer is obligated to adhere to the agreed upon appointment. Cancellations are subject to the cancellation terms outlined in the general terms and conditions.

1.2 Rescheduling of Appointments

An agreed upon appointment can be rescheduled free of charge up to 2 business days before the scheduled date. For rescheduling less than 2 business days before the scheduled date, a fee of 150 euros will apply. Rescheduling of an appointment is subject to the availability of Mr. Perfect Services and must be agreed upon in writing or by telephone.

1.3 Cancellation Policy

More than 5 working days: Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 business days before the agreed upon date.

Between 5 to 3 work days: For cancellations made between 5 and less than 3 business days before the agreed upon date, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the booking order.

Less than 3 work days: Cancellations made between 3 and less than 5 business days before the agreed upon date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking order.

Cancellations must be made in writing and confirmed by the company to be effective. Exceptions to these cancellation terms may be granted at the discretion of the company.

1.4 Payment Terms

Payment for services rendered is due in full immediately upon completion of the work. Payments in cash are free of charge. Payments by credit card and PayPal are also accepted, however, a fee of 5% of the total amount will be charged for these payment methods.

1.5 Submission of VAT Forms

A VAT form for tax exemption will be accepted provided that the validity date is current and on the same day as the service. VAT forms submitted after the provision of the service will not be accepted. Only the specifically named authorised individuals and their specifically listed family members are entitled to submit and sign such a VAT form.

2. Moving Services

2.1 Moving list adjustments

Adjusting the moving list, especially reducing the moving list, is possible up to 3 working days before the move. However, any adjustments made beyond this timeframe may incur additional charges.

2.2 Pet transportations

Please note that we do not provide moving services for pets. Customers are responsible for making their own arrangements for the transportation of pets during the moving process.

2.3 Aquariums, Terrariums and sun umbrellas

Moving an aquarium is possible, but the aquarium must be emptied of liquid and sand beforehand. The same applies to sandboxes and terrariums.

Please be aware that we are unable to relocate sun umbrellas that are embedded in concrete.

2.4 Non-Transportable Items

2.5 Restriction on Installation Work

The personnel of Mr. Perfect Services are not authorised to perform electrical, gas, and other installation work. Any work of this nature must be carried out by qualified professionals. Mr. Perfect Services assumes no responsibility for damages or injuries resulting from improperly performed installation work.

2.6 Transport of TVs, Peloton screens and Monitors

We are not liable for the transportation of tvs and (Peloton) screens without their original packaging.

While we take every precaution to ensure that your belongings are handled with care, moving televisions without their boxes or proper packaging presents an increased risk of damage. Therefore, if you choose to have us transport a television without its original packaging, it is at your own risk. If appropriate packaging is not available, a written agreement, called “Agreement for Moving TV“, can be signed. By signing this agreement, the customer accepts the risks associated with transporting a television or monitor without adequate packaging and releases Mr. Perfect Services from any liability for potential damages.

2.7 Parking Arrangements

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure adequate parking options are available for our movers during the moving process. In instances where the customer resides in the downtown area of major cities such as Kaiserslautern, Wiesbaden, or Mainz, it is mandatory to establish a designated no-parking zone. This can be facilitated by applying for a permit through the respective town council.

3. Preparation for Move out Cleaning or PCS Cleaning

Prior to the arrival of the cleaning team for Move out Cleanings and PCS Cleanings, the apartment/house should be cleared of any coarse trash. If the cleaning team finds upon arrival that the apartment or house has not been cleared of coarse trash, a fee of 150 euros plus VAT will be charged for trash cleanup. Additionally, please note that tough stains such as oil stains on concrete, tough dirt on tiles, marker stains on surfaces, mould, and coarse stains in toilets will be attempted to be cleaned as thoroughly as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that we can completely remove them.

4. Preparation for Deep Cleanings

Refrigerators and kitchen cabinets can be additionally cleaned, if the contents is emptied before the cleaning crew arrives. Additionally, please note that tough stains such as oil stains on concrete and tiles, marker stains on surfaces, mould, and coarse stains in toilets will be attempted to be cleaned as thoroughly as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that we can completely remove them.

5. Junk Removal Services

All the junk must be consolidated in one room or corner prior to our team’s arrival. This facilitates efficient removal and helps streamline the process.

Additionally, customers are advised to thoroughly inspect the junk before our team’s arrival. Once the junk is submitted to the recycling centre, it is impossible to retrieve any valuables. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that all desired items are removed from the junk pile before our team begins the removal process.

6. Lawn Care Services

Prior to the crew’s arrival, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the yard is free from pet waste, especially dog faeces (poop). This helps maintain a clean and hygienic environment for our lawn care team. Additionally, for the safety of our crew members and to prevent any disruptions during the service, dogs should be kept on a leash or indoors while the lawn care work is being performed.

If pet waste, particularly dog faeces, is not removed before our crew’s arrival and they are required to do so, a fee of 150 euros plus taxes will be charged.

Depending on the weather, the scheduled service can be rescheduled due to constant rain, snow, or wind.
